The weather is so changeable throughout spring. Highs of 19 degs, lows of 11 deg. How can we possibly plan and adapt our wardrobe to transition through the most trickiest of seasons?
We love wearing fur in the Spring. We find the knitted gilets are particularly good this time of year. Not only does the knitted technique give a soft silhouette and are very light to wear with plenty of movement, knitted fur is also naturally breathable. Just throw on over a shirt or tee paired with jeans/chinos when its cool and then when it warms up you can simply tuck it into your bag, or fold over your arm. Not forgetting a fur will always look glamorous softly draped across shoulders.
Don't take our word for it, take a look at the celebs we've spotted on Instagram wearing The Soho Furrier this week in May.Croombe Collar in Port worn by Fifi Geldoff
Fifi is a big fan of her Port Croombe collar and it features repeatedly throughout her instagram feed. Moving into Spring Fifi has cleverly changed from wearing it over jumpers, her coats and jackets to simply teaming it with a black shift dress. High impact and incredibly chic.
D'Arblay Gilet in Natural worn by Fleur Irving, Made in Chelsea
Fleur chose to wear The Soho Furriers best selling D'Arblay gilet in Natural Tones for her first big storyline in the new series of Made in Chelsea where she dated Andy Jordan. Fleur used the contrast of the natural tones against her black blouse and skinnies to make an impressive causal outfit without appearing to try to hard. Well done Fleur!
Argyll Gilet in Noir worn by Claire Le Marquand, wife of The Streets vocal and instrumentalist Mike Skinner
Claire loves the understated simplicity of the Argyll gilet and is seen wearing it effortlessly over a white shirt with black jeans on a girls night out. Accessorised with a statement belt and beautiful jewellery gives a classic look.
